Warranty Service

Residential Garage Door Services (“RGDS”) provides a 10-Year Warranty on parts and labor for all new installations. This warranty guarantees that all products are installed correctly and in accordance with manufacturer instructions. If any product is found to be defective or improperly installed during the warranty period, RGDS will, at our option, repair or replace the product at no charge.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers both the products and installation services provided by Residential Garage Door Services. Specifically, coverage includes:

  • Corrosion of covered components

  • Product failure due to defects in materials or workmanship

  • Installation errors performed by RGDS

The warranty period is 10 years for both parts and labor from the date of installation.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Weather-related damage (e.g., storms, flooding, hail, lightning)

  • Vehicle collisions or accidental impacts

  • Physical damage caused by neglect, misuse, or lack of necessary maintenance

  • Normal wear and tear of components

  • Modifications or repairs performed by anyone other than RGDS

  • Wi-Fi features or connectivity functions associated with smart devices

LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

  • This warranty applies only to the original homeowner listed on the receipt or invoice and is not transferable.

  • Any product altered from its original factory condition automatically voids this warranty.

  • RGDS is not liable for incidental, consequential, or reliance damages, including damage to property or personal injury. Liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product and installation.

  • Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights which vary from state to state. Please review any warranty information provided by the product manufacturer, as this may extend coverage beyond RGDS’s warranty.
